名称与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，一百多年前，这里与宁中镇邹陶村同在一个堡。村名原作「邹坑」，当地客家话里「蕉」与「邹」同音，又写成「蕉坑」。[1]晚近的一次变更是1999年改称蕉联村委会；此前依次为1987年称蕉联管理区，1983年作蕉联乡政府，改称蕉联大队，1981年地名普查时因重名，1958年为蕉坑大队，1951年称蕉坑乡，1949年为蕉坑村农会。[1]
