明星村在兴宁市合水镇境内，是镇辖行政村。据博雅地名网，村名的意思是村里各项事业像天上的明星一样发亮。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明星村农会成立于1949年，1950年至1957年为大队，1963年至1986年为乡，1986年后称管理区，1999年定名明星村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位，名单2019年9月公布。[1]
