明星村是广州市白云区人和镇北部的行政村，东面临流溪河，西面紧邻广州白云国际机场，全村面积2平方千米，下辖11个经济合作社[1]。
地名由来与沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，村名因村委会驻地而得。新中国成立初期，兔岗一带属番禺县第十区同文乡；因兔岗人口较多，原来的上、中、下三社各自成村，此为兔岗中社，取名明星村。到1958年成立明星大队，其后1984年成为明星乡，1987年撤乡改设村委会[1]。
人口与经济[edit]
全村耕地1341亩，本地户籍人口3395人（农业人口2874人），外来人口约600人；2005年人均纯收入7823元，工农业总收入8223万元，村里有厂房5家[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
白云区登记保护文物单位中，明星村有梁氏宗祠（明星南路1号）、伯轩梁公祠（国安街）、梁氏别墅（明星南路），均为清代建筑[2]。
荣誉[edit]
2019年入选广东省卫生村名录；2020年至2022年连续入选淘宝村名单[1]。
