坑里长着一棵樟树，故称樟坑。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

樟坑1949年初为梓坑农会，1961至1983年是岗背公社的樟坑大队，1983年11月设樟坑乡，归岗背区，1987年改管理区，隶岗背镇，1999年起为樟坑村委会。2004年11月岗背镇撤销，村改归黄陂镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，樟坑村名列广东省2018年“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单。[1]
