茅田村是广东省廉江市长山镇下辖的行政村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据说先祖刚到这里定居时，山上遍布树木和茅草，望去像一片田，因此叫茅田。1950至1957年，茅田与大山口、马尾地、苗埇、两头塘、那平垌、樟树坑、徐巴塘等村一同组成一个乡，乡府设于茅田；其后茅田单设大队，又改管理区，1999年称茅田村委会。[1]
文化[edit]
2019年9月，茅田村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
