名称由来[edit]

村子位于陶塘村那座山的后面，因此叫后山。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1984至1987年称后山乡，1987年4月称后山村，1989年9月改称管理区，1999年4月复称后山村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，省农业农村厅公布了第一批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村，后山村因油茶入选。同年榜上有名的还有留陂村、龙溪村。2019年9月，后山村也名列广东省2018年“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单。[1]
