历史沿革[edit]

据传此地最早叫黄坑尾，也称黄泥坪；因原黄槐小学有一棵开黄花的大槐树，1925年当地人士曾问吾等人商量后改称黄槐。[1]1987年镇政府成立时，黄槐乡被划成槐东、槐西两个管理区，槐西居西；村委会的名称是1999年起用的。[1]
