上宝龙村在黄槐镇，1950年前后曾是黄陂区北六乡的所在地。[1]
地名由来与沿革[edit]
宝龙之名，博雅地名网记为：地下有煤、铁、钨、铜、石灰石等矿藏，加上自然村的形状像龙。[1]
1950年，黄陂区北六乡的乡政府在这里；1958年成立宝龙大队。1959年，下宝龙、新村、黄溪相继分出，剩下的部分后来叫上宝龙，一度称联新大队；1963年宝丰又被分出。1984至1986年上宝龙和宝丰合成宝龙乡，1989年分开，上宝龙设管理区，到1999年改设村委会。[1]
2021年12月，省爱卫会授予上宝龙村卫生村称号。[1]
