黄溪村在黄槐镇，别名黄沙溪。[1]
地名由来与沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，村中的小河里黄色的沙子多，所以别称黄沙溪，村名取自此。[1]
黄溪在1950年隶黄陂北六乡的宝龙大队，1959年分出另立黄溪大队，1978年归黄槐公社。1984至1986年与新村大队合并成新村乡；1989年撤乡设管理区，1999年设村委会，延续到现在。[1]
黄溪村见于2019年9月公布的广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建名单（2018年度）。[1]
