宝丰村在黄槐镇，1963年从宝龙大队分出，立为宝丰大队。[1]
地名由来与沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，村名“宝丰”是因这里蕴藏铁、硫磺、青矾、石灰和煤等矿产。[1]
宝丰在1950年属黄陂区北六乡，1958年归黄陂公社的宝龙大队；1963年从大队分出，另立宝丰大队。1984至1986年同上宝龙合为宝龙乡，1989年起设管理区，1999年起设村委会。[1]
宝丰村见于2019年9月公布的广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建名单（2018年度）。[1]
