黄槐社区是黄槐镇政府驻地，位于镇中心，分类上属镇中心区。[1]

地名由来与沿革[edit]

社区原叫黄坑尾，又写作黄泥尾。后来有人觉得这些名字不雅，便在黄坑坪栽了槐树，把地名改成黄槐。[1]

社区的前身在1970年成立，1972年有了居民领导小组，1976年设黄槐委员会；到1989年，居委会编入镇政府，名称定为黄槐社区居委会。[1]

黄槐社区见于2019年9月公布的广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建名单（2018年度）。[1]
