历史沿革[edit]

当地有一座高山叫新洲岗，村取其「新洲」二字为名，明代已经沿用。[1]

建制沿革：1949年村农会，1950至1957年大队，1963至1986年乡，之后管理区，1999年起为新洲村村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

新洲村的茶叶使它进入省第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单（2021年9月）。[1]

文化[edit]

新洲村是2021年度省乡村治理示范村创建单位（2022年1月确定），2022年8月被省里列为民主法治示范村（社区）的创建对象（2022年度），并在2026年1月获评省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
