坪埔村是梅州市兴宁市径南镇的行政村，地势平坦，2017年获「广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此处地势平坦，旧时叫坪步，后因「步」「埔」谐音而改称坪埔。[1]
自1999年起为坪埔村委会；之前1986年后是管理区，1963至1986年是坪埔乡，1950至1957年是大队，1949年则是村农会。[1]
文化[edit]
坪埔村是第一批「广东省卫生村」之一（2017年10月），也在2018年度省民主法治示范村（社区）创建名单里（2019年9月）。[1]
