历史沿革[edit]
民间有「铁顶银腰金垫角」的说法，称此处有一座「宝之山」，村名取自于此。[1]
建制沿革：1949年村农会，1950至1957年大队，1963至1986年乡，之后管理区，1999年起为宝山村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
宝山村的茶叶使它列入首批省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单（2020年8月）。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
宝善围为客家围龙屋，1901年始建，取名于先人「以善为宝」的祖训；兴宁市人民政府在2015年12月2日把它编入第三批「兴宁市特色古民居」保护名录。[2]
文化[edit]
宝山村为2021年度省乡村治理示范村创建单位（2022年1月确定）。[1]
