历史沿革[edit]

村名是从辖区内三个人口较多的村落（双口、双溪、梧坑）名中各取一字，合成「双梧」。^[1]

1949年是双梧村农会，1951年起成双梧乡，1958年为生产大队，1983年设乡政府，1986年为管理区，直到1999年才有双梧村民委员会。^[1]

双梧村在省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇名单里（2026年3月认定）。^[1]
