龙潭村是蕉岭县蓝坊镇的行政村，在2019年12月公布的第一批国家森林乡村名单中，村内有清道光年间的天褒节孝石牌坊。[1][2]

地名来历[edit]

明嘉靖年间（约1566年），龙姓人从福建永定迁到这里。村里有一处水潭，称龙潭；潭在水源头，村落在潭下方，起初叫龙潭下，后来简称龙潭。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国十年（1921年）时叫龙潭下村，隶蓝坊乡；1952年单立龙潭乡。人民公社期间它属红旗四社、东风公社，后转蓝坊公社；1983年再次立乡，此后改设村委会，其间用过管理区的名称，1999年起称村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

村情介绍分10个村民小组，在册276户、1103人，耕地642.5亩，作物以毛竹、经济林和生姜为主，特色是百香果，并经营村里的水电站；上一年村经济总收入90万元。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

天褒节孝石牌坊建于清道光三年（1823年），四柱三间、三层三檐，全用麻石，通高7.3米，旌表江缵盈之妻吴氏。吴氏与江家次子缵盈系两家指腹为婚，缵盈早逝，她仍进江家守节、侍奉公婆，后由嗣子请旌，朝廷降旨立坊。[2][3]
