黄坑村位于蕉岭县新铺镇，面积18.2平方公里，是镇内面积最大的村，茶叶是它的主要产业。据村情材料，明洪武末年（1384）张姓迁来定居，山体多为黄泥、山坑又多，故名黄坑。[1]

经济与荣誉[edit]

2013年7月，农业部认定黄坑茶叶为第三批全国一村一品示范村镇；2020年8月，该村以茶叶进入首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。全村16个村民小组，393户、1410人（村情材料未注年份），耕地3170亩。2019年9月，列入2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1921年归徐溪乡，叫黄坑村；1952年改立黄坑乡；1958年为黄坑生产大队；1968年一度叫革命委员会；1983年徐溪设区，黄坑与东和两个大队合并，成黄坑乡；1987年归徐溪乡，称村委会；1990年为管理区，1999年起称黄坑村委会；2003年徐溪并入新铺镇。[1]
