象岭村位于蕉岭县新铺镇，村情材料把它归入镇中心区一类。村名里的「象」指野象，据说古时有野象出没于这片山岭。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1950年归金沙乡管辖，1952年另立象岭乡；1958年归新铺公社，为象岭生产大队；1983年象岭、彭坑两个大队合并为象岭乡，属新铺区；1987年改称村委会，1990年为管理区，1999年起复称象岭村委会。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
村里以种蔬菜为主，全村20个村民小组，560户、2020人（村情材料未注年份），面积6.91平方公里，耕地1014亩。2021年9月，象岭村以优质稻进入第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单；2026年3月被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
