镇郊村是梅州市蕉岭县新铺镇中心区的一个村。村情材料说，新铺的老圩原在今圩南约1公里、靠河的湖鳅墩，因常遭水淹，店铺后来迁到本村地面上，村名与此有关。[1]

村内分6个村民小组，登记220户、720人（村情材料未注年份）；土地面积1.19平方公里，耕地256亩，种玉米、甘蔗、花生。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1987年称镇郊村委会，1990年改称镇郊管理区，1999年起又称镇郊村委会。[1]
