历史沿革[edit]
相传五百年前有一群凤凰落在此处，当地人把凤凰错认成孔雀，取“孔”字，“目”指看见，合成孔目。[1]
1949年设孔目乡，1958年改为孔目大队，1983年称孔目乡政府，1989年成为孔目管理区，1999年起称孔目村民委员会。[1]
近年的荣誉：2017年10月，获广东省爱国卫生运动委员会授予的第一批广东省卫生村称号。[1]
