历史沿革[edit]
抗日战争时期，东江纵队驻在黄沙坑一带，村民多姓黄。创办皇华中学时，把黄沙坑改称皇华乡，“黄”“皇”同音，取“中华”之意。[1]
1949年设皇华乡，1958年改为皇华大队，1983年称皇华乡政府，1989年成为皇华管理区，1999年起称皇华村委会。[1]
近年的荣誉：2023年2月，获评2022年度五华县文明村镇。[1]
