历史沿革[edit]
地势狭长，山岭起伏连绵，形状像一条巨龙，故名。[1]
解放前分作坑尾、龙岭、龙丰、新桥几片，1958年人民公社化时合并为龙岭大队，1983年称龙岭乡政府，1989年设龙岭管理区，1999年设龙岭村委会。[1]
近年的荣誉：2019年9月，列为广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
