历史沿革[edit]
村名来自已有七百多年历史的北源坝，坝后来改作村，名称沿用下来。[1]
1949年设北源乡，1958年改为北源大队，1983年称北源乡政府，1989年成为北源管理区，1999年起称北源村委会。[1]
近年的荣誉：2023年2月，获评2022年度五华县文明村镇。[1]
