中洞村是广东省梅州市五华县水寨镇下辖的行政村，位于五华县东北部，使用客家话。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

中洞这个地名已用了几百年，来历无从查考。解放初期隶水寨公社的高中大队，1973年改隶梓皋公社；1979年冬高中大队分出高车村，剩余部分名中洞大队；1989年为大坝镇中洞管理区；1999年为大坝镇中洞村民委员会；2004年归水寨镇。[1]

概况[edit]

全村人口4300人（2016年数据），面积1333.07公顷。在广州海关帮扶下，村里发展了数码配件加工和生猪、蜜柚、塘鱼种养等产业，经济以种植水稻为主，至2019年11月底贫困人口全部脱贫。[1]

在广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位2018年度名单中，于2019年9月入选；并于2023年2月获评2022年度五华县文明村镇。[1]
