历史沿革[edit]
莲洞村各取莲塘湖的“莲”、澄洞的“洞”二字得名。莲洞大队设于1951年，1989年改称莲洞管理区，1999年又改设村民委员会。[1][2]
概况[edit]
全村有18个村民小组，在册762户，人口4139人，耕地1070亩（博雅地名网所载，未注明年份）。适龄儿童少年属县第十一小学和城镇中学的学区。[2]
五华客天下文化旅游产业园的曲湖片区涉及本村，该园区于2016年3月开始建设。2022年村里实施了村委光伏发电项目，增加集体经济收入。[2]
在广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位2018年度名单中，于2019年9月入选；并于2023年2月获评2022年度五华县文明村镇。[1]
