咀厚村位于沙湖镇东面，沙湖至四九的市级公路穿过辖区，有11条自然村，总面积6.04平方千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]
1949至1961年称咀厚乡；1962年曾分设红锋、联岗两个大队，1964年并回咀厚大队；1986年起称咀厚村委会，1998年10月起正式定名咀厚村民委员会。[1]
