大布村是广东省梅州市五华县水寨镇下辖的行政村，位于县城边，是广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据地名由来的说法，约1600多年前，李氏十四世从玉茶塘迁到员瑾的大麻岭，后来又迁到此处，建祠堂，地形称“乌鸦落阳”，地名为“大草埔坪”，简称“大埔”，“埔”与“布”音近，成了大布。[1]

建制名称先后为大布乡（1949年）、大布大队（1958年）、大布乡政府（1983年）、大布管理区（1989年）、大布村民委员会（1999年）。[1]

现状[edit]

大布村借城中村的区位，在“百千万工程”中抓文明乡风、人居环境、网格治理和特色产业。村里的新时代文明实践站配合综合性文化服务中心，开展政策宣讲、文体和敬老助学活动250余次，村级慈善协会帮扶老人和困难群众。[2]

并于2023年2月获评2022年度五华县文明村镇；列入广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇名单（2026年3月）。[1]
