历史沿革[edit]

村名取自它所在的位置：当地人称村落在黄金产溪河以北，故名溪北。[1]1958年隶留隍公社，编为溪北大队；1984年公社改为区时叫溪上乡；1987年镇建立后改叫溪北管理区；至1999年改为溪北村民委员会。[1]

主要经济作物为橄榄。[1]
