历史沿革[edit]
公社化时，大队的主村是金岗石村，大队因此定名金岗。[1]1979年前是金岗大队，1983年成为金岗乡，1987年又改作金岗管理区，至1999年改称金岗村委会。[1]

主要经济作物是橄榄。[1]
荣誉[edit]
- 2019年9月公布的「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单中有该村。[1]
