新美村是梅州市丰顺县留隍镇的行政村，位于镇域东部，原属东留，2004年随东留镇并入留隍镇。[1][2]

由新村和埔美两个主村各取一字组成；埔美原作埔尾，当地口音中「尾」「美」同音。[1]1962年属东留公社，为新美大队；1986年起为东留乡的新美管理区；至1999年改称新美村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

经济作物有玉米、山药、橄榄。[1]

著名人物[edit]

朱师晦（1907年—1995年），新美村新村人，1926年从潮州金山中学毕业，考入广州中山大学医学院，毕业后留校任助教、医生，后来从事寄生虫病和传染病研究。[2]

荣誉[edit]

  • 「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」，2026年1月获评。[1]
  • 2019年9月公布的「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单中有该村。[1]
