历史沿革[edit]
村名取自主村长田的「长」字，加上村中成片竹林的「林」字。[1]1958年以前，长田和居林一带合为长林乡；各立大队时，这一名称留给了长林大队；至1999年改为长林村村民委员会。[1]

经济作物有玉米、木薯、番薯、橄榄、佛手。[1]
