龙公坑村在枫朗镇东北部，设11个村民小组，在册254户、1183人，耕地230亩，种青梅和水稻。[1]

博雅地名网记载，村落散布在梅潭河龙井潭北岸的山坑里，因有一块龙头石，故称龙公坑。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明代属清远都黄沙社双溪村，清代属兰沙甲，民国属石云区双和村。1958年10月称枫朗公社龙宫坑大队，1978年3月改隶双溪公社，1986年2月称双溪乡龙公坑村，1998年设村民委员会，2003年随双溪镇并入枫朗镇。[1]

2019年9月，龙公坑村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
