博雅地名网记：民国以前叫仙子下，建国后写作「山子下」，因与湖寮镇的一个同名地方重复，1980年恢复仙子下。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1952至1956年为石云区山子下乡，次年起是大埔角乡下的小乡，1958年10月成枫朗公社的山子下大队，1973年转隶大埔角公社；1986年2月称仙子下村，1998年设村民委员会。[1]

枫朗墓群的分布范围包括本村，于1982年发现，1986年发掘了22座墓葬。[2]
