上山下村在枫朗镇东南部，设14个村民小组，在册306户、1538人，耕地539亩，以种茶和茶叶加工为村里的特色收入。[1]

村名取自西岩山的「山下」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国初期隶侯云区广德乡，1957年归大埔角乡，1958年10月成枫朗公社的上山下大队，1973年转入大埔角公社；1986年2月起称上山下村，1998年管理区改设村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，该村被列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2021年9月，入选广东省农业农村厅第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村（茶叶）；2022年1月，又被广东省乡村振兴局定为乡村治理示范村创建单位（2021年度）。[1]
