明德村是广东省梅州市大埔县银江镇下辖的行政村，位于省道S333线旁，城乡分类属镇乡结合区。村名取自当地的明德学校。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1952年为银江区明德乡，1957年为银中乡的明德小乡；1958年10月编为大麻公社明德大队，1962年起属银江公社；1983年冬设乡，1986年称村，1988年改为管理区，1998年起为银江镇明德村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

全村14个村民小组，在册449户、1945人，总面积27平方千米，耕地445亩（村情页，未注明年份）。村情页称这是一个传统农业村，主要经济作物为黄花菜和生猪，村里拿出5万元帮村民调整农业结构，种植金针菜、油茶、金银花、药用菊花，并提出全村养猪达到1000头以上的目标；页面称上一年农村经济总收入1382万元。[1][2]
