昆仑村在银江镇南部，是梅州市大埔县银江镇下辖的行政村，全镇人口最多的村之一。村名取自当地的崑仑山。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
博雅地名网援引明嘉靖三十六年（1557年）的《大埔县志》，说崑仑山在县城西七十里，山脉盘绕，土壤肥沃，村民称为宝壤，村名由此而来。[1]
据村情页，明嘉靖三十六年和清乾隆九年（1744年）这里都属大埔县滦洲都大麻社昆仑村；1943年改隶大麻区昆仑乡；1952至1956年间归银江区昆仑乡，1957至1958年间是银中乡的昆仑小乡；1958年10月编为大麻公社昆仑大队，1962年划归银江公社；1983年冬恢复为乡，1987至1988年之间称银江乡昆仑村，其后改为昆仑管理区，1998年起为银江镇昆仑村民委员会。[2]
经济[edit]
全村32个村民小组，在册799户、3471人，总面积65平方千米，耕地870亩（村情页，未注明年份）。主要种黄花菜和蜜柚，村里还推广金银花、药用菊花；页面称上一年农村经济总收入2011万元。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
竹楼祠建于明代，列入大埔县第九批文物保护单位；庆安居是清代古建筑，又称邱冠周故居，列入大埔县第十二批文物保护单位。[1]邱冠周是矿物工程学家，广东大埔人，2011年入选中国工程院院士。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，昆仑村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
