李子坪村在银江镇北部，是梅州市大埔县银江镇下辖的行政村，南面与奎斗坑相接，北面连着明德村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
相传这里旧时盛产梨子，叫梨子坪，后来因客家话里「梨」「李」同音，写作李子坪。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1952年为银江区李子坪乡，1957年为银江乡李子坪小乡；1958年10月编为大麻公社李子坪大队，1962年划归银江公社，1978年短暂转到坪上公社；1983年冬设乡，1986年冬称村，1988年改为管理区，1998年定名为银江镇李子坪村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
全村14个村民小组，在册246户、1020人，总面积30平方千米，耕地336亩（村情页，未注明年份）。主要经济作物为黄花菜和油茶。村内设有李子坪农业综合开发基地，规划种植3000亩，其中山脚黄花菜间种油茶1500亩、洼地养鱼200亩；页面称上一年农村经济总收入875万元。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，李子坪村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
