车上村是广东省梅州市大埔县银江镇下辖的行政村，位于省道S333线旁。据传村子地势高而干旱，靠水车抽水灌田，因而叫车上。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1952年为银江区车上乡，1957年为银中乡的车上小乡；1958年10月编为大麻公社车上大队，1962年起属银江公社，1978年转入坪上公社；1983年恢复为乡，1986年冬称村，1988年间改为管理区，1998年定名为银江镇车上村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
人口与面积[edit]
全村18个村民小组，在册402户、1892人，总面积28平方千米，耕地441亩（村情页，未注明年份）。[2]
