银村是广东省梅州市大埔县银江镇下辖的行政村，位于省道S333线旁；博雅地名网将它写作「银村村」。[1]
地名由来[edit]
据村情页，村址地形近圆，清澈的银溪河从坑内穿过，先人认为水主财；又传村中有矿可炼金银，故称银村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明嘉靖三十六年（1557年）称滦洲都大麻社银村，清乾隆九年（1744年）称大麻社银村；1943年归大麻区银江乡；1952年立银中乡，1957至1958年间为坑口乡内的银中小乡；1958年10月编为大麻公社银村生产大队，1962年起属银江公社；1983年冬设银村乡，1986年冬称村，1988年改为管理区，1998年定名为银村村民委员会。[2]
经济[edit]
全村18个村民小组，在册493户、1890人，总面积30平方千米，耕地299亩（村情页，未注明年份）。主要经济作物为肉兔和黄花菜，另种金银花、蜜柚。村里入股横石电站，分红使村集体增收6000元；页面称梅州市最大的肉兔养殖场落户在银村的曾子輋。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2023年4月，广东省公布的2022年乡村治理示范村创建单位名单中有银村村。[1]
