历史沿革[edit]
明清两代并入昆仑村，民国和建国初同属昆仑乡；1952年单立坑头乡，1957年为银中乡的坑头小乡；1958年10月编为大麻公社坑头大队，1962年起属银江公社；1983年冬复设乡，1986年称村，1988年改为管理区，1998年起为银江镇坑头村民委员会。[1]
人口与面积[edit]
全村29个村民小组，在册469户、1947人，总面积31平方千米，耕地301亩（镇页所列村情，未注明年份）。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，坑头村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
