鱼田村隶属广东省梅州市梅县区南口镇。200多年前，赖姓人家从中原迁来定居，以养鱼为主，兼种少量田地，卖鱼所得用于子女读书和其他开支，村民后来称此地为鱼田。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立前归似都堡；1958年立鱼田大队，1983年归太平寺乡；1986年、1999年先后改为管理区、村委会。[1]
2019年9月，该村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
