新化村是惠东县宝口镇辖下的行政村，原名石磜村，为纪念社会主义新文化的建立而改名[1]。2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

按时间由近及远，1999年名为新化村委会，沿用至今；1990年名为新化管理区；1987年3月改名新化村委；1983年名为新化乡；1963年2月划归高潭公社；1960年名为新化生产大队；1957年12月并入宝溪乡；1954年名为新化高级农业生产合作社；1951年12月属惠阳县第二十一区，名为新化小乡；坪上、黄豆坪、中心等村1950年联合，组成新化村[1][2]。2019年9月，新化村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。
