涧背村在稔山镇西部，靠近广汕公路，是座落在涤溪汇合而成的大涧背后的村庄，因此得名。[1]

概况与沿革[edit]

全村140多户，730多人，耕地706亩，分2个村民小组。[1]1983年11月并入白云，改叫涧背村；1989年归白云管理区，1999年重新单设涧背村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2017年10月获评「第一批广东省卫生村」；2019年9月，名列广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
