芙蓉村在稔山圩镇东南约6公里处，是工、农、渔、盐并举的行政村，共330户1569人，面积2.5平方公里，岸线长5公里。[1]
地名由来[edit]
元末建村之初，四周是海滩，涨潮时别处受浸，唯独此处不被淹，仿佛会“浮动”，取名浮蓉，后改谐音芙蓉。[1]
沿革与荣誉[edit]
1870年为和平约堡的芙蓉小村；1931年称芙蓉乡；1951年划入范和乡，叫芙蓉村；1983年仍属稔山区范和乡。[1]耕地563亩，海滩涂400亩。2026年1月，被评为广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
