大埔屯社区隶属惠东县稔山镇。当地因海水冲积沉淀成沙埔地，得名大埔屯。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国二十年（1931年）归惠阳县稔山第十二区，名大埔屯乡。1957年底并入稔山乡，其后几经改称，先后叫过大埔屯连、大埔屯大队。1987年3月成为村委会，1999年3月转为居委会；2002年按粤民基〔2002〕5号文改称大埔屯社区居民委员会。[2]
