船澳村是惠东县稔山镇下辖的行政村。从亚婆角到盐灶背的鹤咀，海岸线形如一条船，水位较深，大小船只可以停泊，村名由此而来。[1]
沿革与荣誉[edit]
1950年归惠阳县澳头管辖，1958年1月划入稔山公社；1965年立船澳大队；1983年与盐灶背大队合为船盐乡，1989年两村分开，船澳另立管理区，1999年5月改设村民委员会。[1]2019年9月，名列广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
历史[edit]
1278年，抗元的文天祥自海丰丽江浦移军，驻扎在船澳。[2]
