盐灶背村是惠东县稔山镇下辖的行政村。旧时村前有一片盐田，用原始耙盐法制盐需要设灶，故名盐灶背。[1]
沿革与荣誉[edit]
1870年，它是和平约堡下的盐灶背小村；1931年8月改为盐灶背乡；1950年归惠阳澳头，1958年1月才划入稔山公社。1983年，船澳大队并入，称船澳乡，村名仍用盐灶背。[1]2019年9月，名列广东省2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
