凤岗村是惠东县平山街道下辖的行政村，原属多祝镇，2017年10月划入平山街道。[1]

地名由来[edit]

西枝江从这里横穿而过，旧名横江；方言里“横”与“黄”、“岗”与“江”谐音，又叫黄岗。后来迁来的尹姓依山岗的地势，改名凤岗。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1951年12月，横江小乡属惠阳县第十四区（区府设在三洲）；1963年2月是新庵公社的横江大队。1977年，上围大队分出一部分，另设凤岗大队；1983年划入大路乡。撤乡后，凤岗村委于1987年3月依惠东府函〔1987〕13号文设立，1988年改管理区，1999年称村委会。2017年10月，经粤民函〔2017〕2295号文由多祝镇划入平山街道。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，凤岗村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
