响水社区是广东省惠州市博罗县湖镇镇下辖的社区，旧时为响水镇的圩镇所在，2006年响水镇并入湖镇镇后称社区。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所录的地名资料，清代有陈、何、黎、赖几姓人家从兴宁迁到这里；因响水河传说水流带响声，地方得名响水。[1]

1949年以前，这里清代由善政巡司署管辖，后属八区八德乡。新中国成立后，先后为四区、八区下的响水乡；响水乡在1955年10月与湖镇乡合成响水区，次年11月撤区并乡，仍为响水乡。1958年10月新作塘人民公社设立，响水管理区是其中之一，1973年又从中分出响水人民公社。1983年11月改称响水区，1986年1月升为响水镇，同时设了圩镇的居民社区。2006年3月，响水镇被并进湖镇镇，此后沿用响水社区居民委员会之名。[2]

经济[edit]

2022年10月，广东省农业农村厅在「一村一品、一镇一业」项目中把响水社区认定为专业村，产品是荔枝。[1]
