历史沿革[edit]

此地旧称蚌壳地，1954年办起初级社后改叫福地。1970年冬稻园大队拆成三部分，福地是其一；1999年7月27日起设福地村民委员会。[2]

地名由来[edit]

相传古时有三条龙差不多同时到此，都不肯走，在此结成龙窝，地称“通福地”，沿用到清末。后因地形像一只躺着的蚌，中间高、四周低，耕作用水不便，改叫蚌壳地，新中国成立后又改为福地。[3]
